TangerineLab is a communication design laboratory.
The concept of naming and logo immediately shows our care about the function-esthetic couple.
We elected tangerine as symbol of our laboratory to remember Bruno Munari's idea of Good Design:
“the orange [and tangerine] is an object almost perfect where there is the absolute consistency
among form, function, consumption” [Munari, Good Design, 1963].
Furthermore we selected tangerine as the 2012 Pantone color of the year, when we were born.
The modularity of tangerine represents the nature of the laboratory, in which each element
completely exists alone and together.
